There’s one thing that will not stop happening and that’s love. People are going to fall in love and they are goining to get engaged and get married and if they don’t get married they will more than likely get engaged.

In a recession things slow down and spending comes almost to a halt. The population goes into a cut back savings mode, but there are things that they will buy and that is food, clothing and engagement rings, you are not going to stop
L O V E even though when it comes to the engagement ring they will look for something that’s will suit their pocketbook.

Diamonds have been the choice when it comes to wedding and engagement  rings for centuries, a lady’s heart will stop when she looks upon a diamond ring about to be placed upon her finger the bigger the diamond the bigger and longer the gasp and kisses.

Diamonds can be a big investment, everyone wants the best and the biggest but in reality cubits cost money depending on the cut, clarity, color and other variables therefore other options start to come to mind.

Cubic zirconia  came into play because of its low cost, durability, and close visual likeness to a diamond but with the right equipment it becomes quite easy to tell the difference between the two.

Moissanite on the other hand has the durability and hardness only second to diamonds. Moissanite has the brilliance and luster and fire that diamonds don’t possess and has fooled some experienced jewelers when it came to telling the difference between the two. Moissanite cost less than diamonds but more than some other gem stones but the cost of a moissanite engagement will stand up to a diamond any time no matter what type of cut. so if you want a recession priced engagement ring Ring Moissanite.
Diamonds are forever.
Moissanite lasts an eternity.

Moissanite The 21st Century Diamond

Why is moissanite called the 21st century diamond, because moissanite is not a diamond it is a mineral called silicon carbide [SiC] that was found in a crater that a meteorite had made in the Arizona desert in Canyon Diablo.

Nobel Prize winner Dr Henri Moissan first discovered in that crater in 1893 he experiment with the silicon carbide and found that it could be fashioned into a gem that had the hardness second only to a diamond.

In 1905 well known mineralogist George Kunz suggested the jewel be named moissanite in honor of Henri Moissan.

The availability of moissanite is very minute naturally so it has to be processed in a laboratory.

Charles and Colvard in Morrisville, North Carolina is the only company in the world today able to produce moissanite in a laboratory.

Moissanite has the beauty, brilliance, luster and fire that makes it stand out more than any other gem known to man.

When given the right cut by a master diamond cutter moissanite has a brilliance that many can not refuse.

Moissanite rings, engagement rings, earrings and all other jewelry creations will truly make moissanite the 21st century diamond.

Diamonds are forever.
Moissanite lasts an eternity.
